The 3MT competition is a powerful way to promote your organization, increase brand awareness and promote user preference among research higher degree students, event attendees, the wider community and industry partners. The semi-final round was a wonderful showcase of graduate student research where 15 heat winners showed us how it should be done. UBC thesis winner advances to western regionals. Here are the names of those victorious in the 6 week campus wide battle which played out the afternoon of Tuesday May 10 to a standing room only crowd in the Ballroom of the Graduate Student Centre.
Graduate students participate in the 3MT competition with the aim of presenting their research to a non-specialized audience in just three minutes. The competition will be the sixth competition at UBC Okanagan.
